Over the past five decades, the values represented in popular tween television have shifted alongside broader cultural changes. This study explores trends in themes such as fame, financial success, community, and benevolence, revealing that the most notable changes occurred in fame and community belonging — patterns closely connected to the growth of reality television content.

District Issues Report — 47th Assembly District (San Bernardino, CA)

In 2021, several hundred residents of California’s 47th Assembly District participated in a comprehensive Current Issues Survey designed to capture constituent priorities and concerns. This report, compiled on behalf of former Assembly Majority Leader (now State Senator) Eloise Gomez Reyes, analyzes community perspectives on critical topics including COVID-19 recovery, racial inequities, the environment, public transportation, housing and homelessness, public safety, small business stability, childcare, healthcare, and education — providing valuable insight for policymakers, advocates, and community leaders.
