About Me

I’m Agnes Varghese, and I create compelling, policy-informed video and multimedia content that bridges the worlds of science, communications, and storytelling. With a PhD in Developmental Psychology and a degree in broadcast journalism, I bring a rare combination of analytical expertise and narrative skill, allowing me to translate complex topics — whether in policy, science, or social issues — into engaging, accessible stories.

My experience spans broadcast journalism, Capitol Hill, global health and counter-trafficking initiatives at USAID, and disaster recovery work in California. Along the way, I’ve held multiple fellowships, published research connecting science and policy, and taught hundreds of students. This blend of creative, technical, and policy-focused work gives me a uniquely informed perspective for producing videos and multimedia content that resonates with diverse audiences.
